Material becomes language: architecture according to Caesar at Cersaie 2026

Bologna, September 2026 – In Hall 37 (Stand C28-D27), Ceramiche Caesar translates its "The Language of Material" concept into an impactful physical and architectural installation. On the occasion of Cersaie 2026, porcelain stoneware ceases to be a simple surface and becomes a universal language, a stylistic alphabet with which architects and designers can define the character of contemporary spaces.
The heart of the exhibition is represented by the debut of highly anticipated world-exclusive previews, ready to set the new trends in interior design. Standing out among these novelties is Hold, the collection that reinterprets the solid charm of limestone. Characterized by an exceptional visual realism made of micro-veining and fossil traces, Hold welcomes the passage of time, bringing harmony to environments through a rich range of finishes: from the technical performance of the Matt and Grip Touch Plus surfaces, to the softness of the Soft version and the three-dimensional dynamism of the Stripes Soft structure.
The presence at the trade fair highlights the extraordinary versatility and completeness of the Caesar universe in terms of flooring and wall cladding solutions. The Connections project represents the brand's strategic guide, suggesting ideal combinations and tailored cross-contaminations between different looks and sizes. Within this integrated vision, perfect space is found both for the new color proposals for the outdoor areas of the 20 mm thick Aextra20 line, and for the custom-made furnishing solutions of the Olos brand. A fluid and open design path, which demonstrates Caesar's constant attitude towards innovation and its ability to accompany architectural design in its every phase.

Hold
The shape of stability
Hold is a porcelain stoneware collection inspired by Limestone, a compact and balanced limestone reinterpreted to dress the entire architectural project. Its name encapsulates the very essence of this material: Hold does not mean resisting time, but embracing it in order to bring balance to living spaces. Fossil traces, micro-veining and inclusions characterize a material designed to be touched and experienced, where pattern and structure meet each other to create surfaces that are pleasant and highly realistic.
