Project Evolution: large size porcelain stoneware tiles for new design frontiers
Large size tiles: infinite beauty
The use of Caesar large size slabs for floors and walls supports the design of architectural projects on a grand scale, where surfaces delight with their seamless aesthetic continuity, seduce with expressive natural or contemporary inspirations and a varied look, and offer the superior efficiency and technical qualities of porcelain stoneware.
Project Evolution large slabs minimise joints thanks to the scale of the surface of individual tiles. In particular, the 120x278 cm size is designed for fully tiling walls with vertical installation, eliminating all horizontal joints. In addition, sizes 240−120 cm are modular, and can thus be used in combination with all sizes in the traditional range.
For prestigious residential and commercial projects, Project Evolution large sizes provide the solution for making every creation a veritable work of contemporary architecture, conveying a sense of elegance and refinement.
Advantages and design possibilities of large slabs
Large porcelain stoneware slabs are today used in a wide range of design solutions, for floors and walls in indoor and outdoor settings, for ventilated façades and as surfaces on furnishing elements like washbasins, kitchen and bathroom unit tops, counters and tables. The 9 mm thickness gives Project Evolution slabs the necessary level of safety for floor installation, while the 6 mm thickness facilitates use for wall tiling, thanks to the reduced weight and consequently the greater ease of handling, which equates to greater safety.
Thanks to their versatility, large size tiles are used by architects in an increasing number of new projects: in addition to the more traditional uses of porcelain stoneware, Project Evolution slabs can be cut to size for shower trays, sink and washbasin tops, where desired in combination with the look chosen for floors and walls, and kitchen worktops, enriching the space with surfaces that convey prestige, displaying seamless beauty and a contemporary look.
